Sports Activities for the Blind

From many years of experience, we have come to the understanding that sports and physical activity adapted to blind and visually impaired students dramatically improves their abilities in various other fields throughout their lives.

Improving self-confidence, body image, space orientation, teamwork skills, and social openness provides tangible success and victory, as well as the tools for our students to cope with prevailing hardships.

Equally important is our work to encourage perseverance and making movement a habit. As our children and participants get older, we want to give them the proper tools to function at a certain level among their peers. It turns out, many cases of visual impairment lead to severe social, economic, and mental deterioration when someone does not integrate sports into their life. In many cases, there is significant improvement in social status when sports is integrated into a holistic education curriculum.

We offer tandem cycling and running, a great way for both blind and seeing people to collaborate and share a positive experience.
