“All we have right now is our voice.”

I think, you know I’ll just speak on behalf of myself, but we have like it’s we are in distress. It’s like a double distress, because we need to seek for shelter each time there’s an alarm and we cannot do this by ourselves because we need help.
And i’m not talking even about all those parents of the blind and visually impaired who have children so they need to take them with them to seek for shelter.
We have, near Tel Aviv, we have one and a half minutes and it seems like a lot of time, but it’s not.
When someone cannot see and everyone just everyone is running and trying to find where to hide and the people are, you know, left alone and we need to find, I need to find some place to go and when you don’t see very well it’s not very easy.
And I try to, i mean, everyone here is, it’s very nice to see that everyone is volunteering and trying to help each other and I think it’s the best thing that happened because of the war that has been going on here and I think that this is the place for us to volunteer.
I’m trying to, I think the only weapon that I have is my voice right now, and I really don’t feel safe where I live, even though that is funny to say because it is in the middle of Israel, and I think that, I mean I’ve been thinking what can I do to help, to try to go through this very weird phase.
I don’t know, so I posted on Facebook, like a few weeks ago on some blind community post, an english post to try to find other people who are visually impaired to find these people all over the world.
